Today is Bridget's 11th Birthday. I told her I would write a blog about how when she was 3 years old, she got a Bitty Baby for her birthday, and every day for about the next year it was either Bitty Baby's Birthday or it was almost going to be Bitty Baby's Birthday and thus, she was in a perpetual state of either
preparing for the birthday or
celebrating the birthday, and it was all really quite fun.
She would wrap her toys in blankies and gather them around Bitty Baby and help her open them. Every day was a party!
This has become a great family story we love to talk about.

Sometimes you wish they could stay young forever. This was one of those times.

Happy birthday big girl! I thought of you as soon as I got up this morning and knew this was your special day. Hope you have all kinds of fun and I'm sure your baseball team will love the cupcakes! When Opa and I come in June, we'll bring your card and present. Have a great day!
