Bedum Bound

I'm so excited!

In less than 24 hours, I'll be leaving on a trip to the Netherlands for a family reunion in Groningen and to visit my dad's birthplace in Bedum. I'm going to meet the rest of the gang (Mom, Dad, Mar, Will & Paula) as we change planes in the Detroit airport and get on the same flight to Amsterdam. John will join us Friday.
As Paula would say, "Beeda-Bodda-Booda-Bodda-Bidda-Bodda-Bedum"
Maybe I can blog from abroad. Now that would be an experience.

.......but we need our daily fix from the Jewels! It gives me great pleasure to pull up your website each night, always saving the best website to be the last one.

Jodi- Thanks! I'll see what I can do about blogging overseas while maintaining my Conger cool.

Ruth- John's mom will be here most of the time and I'll be back next Friday. Glad to see you back on the blog and in the streets!

Annette - Henry can translate, right?

Not as well as I thought at one time. But his mom could probably take care of it!

Hi Julia,

Nice picture of the oldest houses in Bedum. In the middle you see our place. Your sisters and mom & dad have been here during your stay in Bedum. We also had a great familyday and hope to see you all again.

Paula told me about this site. She said there would be pictures shown of the familyday. So we thought maybe it's nice to leave a message.

Have a nice stay in Amsterdam and a save journey back home friday!

Bye! Siegard, Sandra & Nicole Zijl
