Practice Good-Bye

Edward in the woods during the recent camp-out

Next week, on John's birthday, we'll be taking Edward to Calvin College to move into the dorms. Yesterday, he left for a cross country resort/camp in Canada with the Calvin team and he won't be back till Sunday, so we're getting a taste of how life without Ed will be. I'm going to miss his sense of humor and his unique view of life, but the big pots of laundry? Not so much. :)

Oh, I bet he will bring the laundry home on the weekends. Along with an appetite for a home cooked meal.

Hmmm, I didn't think of that b/c it's not an option. lol.

Wait, maybe I'll offer to do it so I can see his shining face :)

I remember moving into the dorm. I know he'll have some great times and make friendships that will last for years.

Brown eyed Girl is right. The laundry will still be there!

Jewels;
Everything you have ever taught Edward will come to life. He will have such an appreciation for home and family after he is away. Yes he will have good times at Calvin but he will show that he knows who truly loves him. You will see your youthful Edward as a "young gentleman".
