Edward left Friday morning on a trip to Iowa with the Michigan Math All Star team. We left church early this morning to go pick him up in Kalamazoo.
He was happy to see his camera-toting, question-asking mother. I found out such things as how he roomed with Nick and Paul, and he played basketball with the Indian mathematicians against the Chinese mathematicians and he had pancakes for breakfast. This is a marked improvement from kindergarten where when we asked him what he did today, he would reply, "Three things, but I don't remember what they were." This behavior sounds typical of math all stars though -they don't talk much. Some things just can't be put into words...

Ah. This explains it. I was hoping to catch up with you after the service but you were (perhaps even long) gone.
Hi Gracie- We'll be there next week - hope you will too!

So true, but we bloggers do it anyway, anyhow ;)
Pearlie-
