I'm happy to say that John succeeded in running his 4th marathon on Sunday, that's 26.2 miles. He has been training steadily for months and he ran it in 3:49 - not his best time, but still a good show. The girls and I stopped at a point half way through it on our way to church to cheer him on and get these photos and he met us later at the church potluck. Edward was a race marshal at the 4 Mile mark.

I must say that he took the time to smile and wave says a LOT about him! :) Congrats to John - that's an awesome achievement.
