Yesterday on my walk, the sun came out for awhile showing off the tread marks on the road. Today the temperatures are above freezing, so we have slush and puddles to see. I'm thinking this is way more fun than being hot somewhere. And staring at blue sky all day long. And smelling flowers and grass. . .

Julia, I love your positive outlook. It's so like you. You are always fun to see with your great smile. Let me know what time church is in Celeryville and what service Dave is going to preach in. We could time our arrival home...We'll miss you all at MCC but will be glad to feel better in warmer weather. My mom's birthday is today and there are lots of good memories. I baked banana bread in her memory:) She made it at least once a week. Skip
Jewels, you are awesome! I had to laugh out loud when I read your blog today. Love the pictures!!!!

You have to try that blue sky and warmth with the fragrance of flowers and grass. We are getting to really like it when we see photos of snow and freezing temperatures. There is only one thing we do not miss about Ohio and that is shoveling the snow!
Skip-Ooh, banana bread. Sounds good. So you'll be gone till about the 2nd week in March? I'll try to let you know about Dave.
Elizabeth- Do you know when Dave will be there?

We have changing seasons! They start out rain. then green, then dry and brown, and then red alert which is also our fire alert due to the dry grasses!

This really is a beautiful shot! Beauty is everywhere, if only we know how to look . . .
