Last night went out with a bang. The snow finally was useful for something like cleaning out your pores.
John & Bridget & I went over to some friends' house at 8pm to watch the ball drop. We had a little time to kill...the kids went in the hot tub first.
It was a perfect night for doing this:
The moms had a turn, and then the dads did.
Good thing Bridget got a new camera.
Happy New Year! I hope all your challenges and adventures feel as exhilarating as plopping in a pile of snow!

Jewels;
In the Scandinavian countries they sit in the sauna (a.k.a hot tub in Michigan) then plunge into the snow, and use birch branches to stimulate circulation ..... just for therapy???
Looking forward to another year of fun reading your blog. Happy New Year!

I believe it's great therapy except I don't know what the birch braches do! Are you still in the Alps? Say hi to Mary & fam!
Wow--and all Henry and I did was eat dinner, watch a movie, have some advocat, toast with champagne at midnight, and snuggle on the couch. You make all of that seem a little boring...
Sounds like you could have used a dip in the snow....
wow... nice way to start off the year...
what an adventurous beginning to 2008! fun. Happy New Year!
