We went on a tour of the Notre Dame campus with Edward & his friends and their families. We stopped for awhile at The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes which is one-seventh the size of the famed French shrine where the Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Bernadette on 18 occasions in 1858. It was a significant place for some of the Irish Catholics with us and some lit candles.
