Birthday Celebration!!!

I love birthdays, and when you are turning 50, you should do something memorable!  John, Bridget & I went to Notre Dame Saturday where Edward is in grad school.  We went to his house and then went to the home football game at Notre Dame.  Unforgettable!  Before the game, we went into the Gold Dome and heard the trumpeters play the fight song and alma mater.  Then we lined the walkway to watch the band do their step off march from there to the stadium.  John took this video which shows how close and real it was to us:


They won the game in 3 overtimes and my heart hasn't recovered from the excitement of the day!  I
