ArtPrize 2012!!!

We spent the day Saturday with many of the artists who are installing their work in our venue, Monroe Community Church.  Brian Whitfield is back in our church and he is one of my favorites... his work this year is outstanding as usual.



I liked this one quite well also by Aryn Vogan, called Jeremiah Tree.... Pastor Henry talked interviewed Aryn and talked about Jeremiah 17:7,  "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream and does not fear when heat comes for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of the drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."
