John & I are in Vermont this week. He's going to a conference at the University of Vermont in Burlington and I'm hanging out. BEAUTIFUL country!!! Taking a lot of great photos too, but I forgot my USB cord, so I'll post some when I get home. In the meantime, here is a great video made by my daughter Maria which I posted before but someone was asking for it:

Love Thursday
Bridget in washed out Owl practice makeup from a day of rehearsal: Who?
Friday evening, this is what we're going to do:
See Bridget in the Opening Night of Winnie-the-Pooh!
I wonder how many times she'll say, "Who?"
Or even if we'll get to see Roo.
Love all around :)

Soaking in a Blue Blue Day
Bridget brought her friend Jessica up to Torch Lake and they had fun with all of the cousins! Four of Mike & Sharie's 5 kids were there and they played games for hours.
Mike had some really cool glasses which steered us all over Torch Lake.
John loved it!
We ended the long Saturday at Dockside Grill.

Ellie!
What a sweetie! Last evening, Jayne (Miss B.) came over with her little girl Ellie for a photoshoot. Can you say "moving target"? Jayne went to Haiti to bring Ellie home lat January just 10 days after the earthquake and it was good to hear the story of Ellie's growth and development since arriving. Jayne will make a great Mom for her - she was Edward & Bridget's 2nd grade teacher and it was fun to see her teaching Ellie already! These are just a few of the ones I took:

Conger Reunion 2010
We all got together for the traditional group shot after the Sunday worship service at Camp Conger. Not everyone who was there made it into the photo and some who came Saturday didn't make it on Sunday. Since we hadn't been to the reunion n a few years, it was a real reuniting experience. My mother and her four daughters and their families were a little rebellious and didn't all wear the red they had been assigned to wear. I managed to have a red stripe in my shirt though.
We also made a photo with everyone - including friends who had come along using the beloved timer & tripod & run in the picture technique:

Tea with the Queen Mother
One very splendid surprise last weekend between the morning reunion brunch and the later afternoon reunion dinner and games was the very special tea I had with the Queen Mother. We enjoyed the tea which Edward had brought her from Harrods Department store in London. It went well with the fresh peaches and cream with amaretto flavour and Oma's teacups from the 1930's.

Calvin Calvin Sing We All to Thee
I know, kind of a funny title to this post, but I liked this photo of Maria which I took last week out at the Holland Beach. She was wearing her Calvin sweatshirt and my friend Cathy pointed out to me that she is going to be leaving for Calvin College soon. I was so happy she spent the evening with us at the beach.

Sharing an Anniversary
Because John & I have an anniversary on June 11, we frequently meet people who share that date of a June wedding. This year, Jeremiah & Julie, a couple I know from church, asked me to take some pix on their 5th anniversary because they had been unhappy with their wedding photos. Maria & I met them over at Frederik Meijer Gardens for a photoshoot. It was the day before we left for the OBX and the day after Edward came home from Europe, so these pix got put on the back burner for awhile. Here are a few:
