Last week, on our way to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, we stopped for an overnight stay near Washington DC. We got together with our friend Joanne who is working at the Department of Agriculture for her summer break from grad school. We had supper at Union Station and walked around the city at night. Beautiful!
In the morning, we met her for a church service at the National Cathedral. I took a few indoor photos, but the outdoor one is from last year.

it is a magical city, especially at night.
Washington is gorgeous at night. Can't wait to take The Bean one day.
