God says, “These things I plan [for your life] won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient. They will not be overdue a single day.” Habakkuk 2:3

Your timing is perfect too - Thanks for the post - I needed that.
Hey Mar,
Glad you were reading it today! Did you see last week's?
Talk about timing! We will be travelling to the Netherlands the last part of this month so your father can participate in a television program. Please pray that all may go well.
Julia,
I have not been around much :) Thanks for waiting! LOL ... jk.
Thanks for sharing the verse - I remember praying the Psalms one day some years back, screaming in my head, "How long, Lord? How long?!!" and he really did answer me, He said, "not long, dear, not long." From then on, I have learnt to wait - God's timing IS indeed perfect.
God bless,
maeghan
Dear Elizabeth - We will certainly keep you in our prayers! So exciting!
Maeghan- Glad to hear from you again! Are the cables fixed yet?
Are the cables fixed yet?
I am not sure - but the connection does seem better.
Julia,
This passage is very convicting. Thanks for sharing it.
I looked it up in the NIV. It reads quite differently. That all leads to those translation issues, but I love this translation. It is so personal and applicable.
Keep blogging. I love it.

Hi Aunt Becky,
This verse is from the NLT, although it isn't exactly word for word. I think I got it from a devotional and wrote it here not realizing it was somewhat paraphrased. The NLT reads:
But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
I do like all the angles you get from the different translations - and ones like the Message & NLT make it more personal.
Thanks for reading the blog - I love to get comments!
