Baby Aaron, Take 3!

Aaron is one month old already, so I stopped over to take his one month pix.  He's looking like a baby now, instead of a newborn, and it's hard to believe it wasn't even his due date yet.

Go Eddie, Go!

John & I went to the indoor track meet at Calvin College this past weekend to see Edward run the Mile.  He has been running on the indoor track team this past winter and will be running track this spring for Calvin.  Well, it seems like just yesterday that I was taking his high school track pictures and now, here he is a SENIOR in college!  Fleeting.


The thing about running the mile in an indoor track is you get to see them run by 8 times!  I have no excuses then for not be able to get a good photo. Of him.






Geez, if you can't tell by the look on his face, I will just tell you he got a personal record of 4:49. Not bad, Eddie.

Love Thursday

This past week, John asked me what I wanted for Valentine's Day.  Aw, you don't have to get me anything, I said.  Well, on second thought, some pink tulips would be nice.


But then, he saw some yellow roses he just couldn't pass up.


So they are sitting in lovethursdayharmony on our table, bringing us a much needed splash of color!

I went to my friend Allison's house last week and saw the baby again!  I took a lot of pix, but the one above is probably my favorite.

Polar Bear?

Maria jumped in the freezing temps of the Sem pond at Calvin College for the second year in a row last Friday at Calvin College and I found a photo online of her!  She's in the red jump suit.  You go, girl!

The Fun Part of the Homecoming Dance

Bridget went to the Homecoming dance this past weekend at South Christian High School.  She told me the best part of the evening is actually the pictures and dinner beforehand!  What great friends she has.

The Final Nail

This piece, which was shown at MCC during ArtPrize just won the "Best Multi-Media Award" at the 2012 Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.  Brian is such a great guy!!!  Congrats to him!

Lovebirds

This past weekend, I met a former co-worker of mine, Jacqueline, and her fiance, Scott, for an engagement photoshoot.  What fun, fun, fun we had!  And they did a great job posin' it up for me :)
