Somehow I missed the mount in Celeryville. Did you hear that Uncle June Buurma, mom's brother died last week? I know there was a glorious reunion that day. Skip
Julia: What a hoot! I am still laughing with sore sides. I can share photos of our girls with that same "do". Why we put that hair style on our children I cannot explain. And poor Paula....I promise not to email the girls back at the hospital to take a peek at her photo! You have such a great journalistic style. I love your blog! Donna
You should send me those pictures! I could do a great post of all the poor little girls in the 60's. This is the 3rd time I have posted that picture of Paula b/c she always challenged me to use it someday.

Yeah, that's a home made mountain in our back yard. I didn't hear that Uncle June died. He was a good friend of my grandma's, too.
