The City of Fountains!
Bridget in front of the Union Station fountain in Kansas City, MO
Bridget & I flew with John last week to his conference in Kansas City which was called, appropriately enough, the Sizzler. It was very hot outside, about 104 to 106 every day. Thankfully, the conference center where we stayed had a very nice pool, a mall and a large food court attached. We ventured out some to take some senior pix. Bridget bought a dress which she wore for many of the shots we took in the city of fountains.

Snow Mountain Ranch
We are home from a week of vacation - first in Kansas City, then to Snow Mountain Ranch where we saw Maria, then to Grand Lake, Colorado. I haven't gotten any photos from my camera yet, but I took the above photo with my iPhone of the view out back the first morning we woke up there. So beautiful! Getting the pix off of my memory card will be like dumping out a bucket of shells!

Contentment
This past weekend, I did a photoshoot for my friend Cathy's foster child and her parents. I can't post the photos online, but I can post one I captured of Cathy looking on which I think shows a very compassionate soul. She feels very good about helping her foster child at this stage in her lfe and I think it shows.

Keeping Cool
I got this water bottle because I loved the the very aesthetically pleasing shape of it. As I looked at it and saw the glow at the bottom from the sun, I had to go in and get my camera and as I looked and photographed it, I was surprised to see this water was called Eternal Water. It did taste pretty good under the hot sun, but I know it isn't the real living water. John 4:14

Generations
This past weekend, my friend Allie asked me to come over and take some photos of their son with his grandparents since they were headed back to Thailand soon. It was great fun to see them so enamored with the little guy. In a way I suppose, since I did not go the family reunion back home, this was one way to help someone else celebrate the generations.
Of course, Allie is too!
