After a week of iPhone pix, I have another. Bridget & I went kayaking in Florida and I dared not bring my camera though I wished I had it. The colors and reflections were beautiful.
We drove through the night last Thursday and made it to Celebration, FL On Friday. The wedding was Saturday afternoon and this is a phone pic we took with my Mom. I took many other photos but for now, the phone pic will do!
This past Saturday, it looked like my last chance to go Cross-Country skiing, so I went out and enjoyed the bright sun shining on the melting diamonds. After about 6 miles (I didn't want it to end) I got back to the car and realized I lost my keys. I saw some friends in the parking lot who said they would keep their eyes open. John wasn't answering his phone so I went back out on the trails and got a call after a couple more miles that they had found them next to the hollowed out beech tree (see below) and I knew exactly where that was because it's right next to a steep hill where I had fallen. I'm going to miss this, but soon I'll be able to ride my bike.
Maria's interim class on Artist Bookmaking had a reception/open house downtown at Gallery 106 this past Friday evening. She made a few books along with this silver-lined cloud with raindrops. We met her professor and many of the other students and had a wonderful time.
